Ashley Pringle

Client Care Coordinator

What’s your professional background/summary?

I graduated with General Arts and Science – Health and Science, Office Administration for Health Services, and am currently in my last semester of the Honours Bachelor of Commerce for Human Resources Management.

Why did you decide to join CareHop?

I knew that I wanted to combine my Health Services knowledge with my Human Resources background and have always known that I wanted a job in which I was able to help people. I only heard good things about CareHop and was motivated to work with this organization based on the involvement CareHop has with their staff, clients, and surrounding communities.

What brings sunshine to you?

I really enjoy going out and spending time with my daughter and partner, especially if it’s a new place or new activity that we haven’t done before. I also enjoy bookstores and reading – I would spend the whole day reading if I could (ideally outside if the weather permitted it).

What is the one thing that most people don’t know about you?

One interesting fact about me is that I have 36 first cousins (my mom has 13 siblings and my dad has 5). I technically have one sister but legally I have 3 sisters and 2 brothers as my parents adopted my cousins just before I was born.

What’s your favourite meal or vacation place?

My favourite food would be anything seafood or oysters – if they have it on the menu I have to order them. My favourite vacation place would be Scotland (which happens to have the best oysters fresh off the boat in the mornings in Oban).

How has a senior impacted your life?

My Lola was my best friend and we even shared a room together until I was 15. She was someone I could always count on and who would always be there for me. She would treat everyone like one of her grandkids and would always be cooking and making sure everyone ate (even if it was always more than they wanted to). She always inspired me with everything that she’s been through and I was extremely fortunate to have spent so much time with her. She taught me a lot and I always try and emulate her generosity and vivacious personality.
