In-Home Activities brings meaningful movement, creativity, and connection right into your home through our personalized 1-on-1 programming. Our goal is to help each person feel more confident, connected, and uplifted — right from the comfort of their own home.

Chair Yoga

A typical chair yoga class is designed to provide gentle, accessible and safe exercise for individuals with varying levels of mobility and flexibility.

Stretch, Strength and Stability

Designed for to improve flexibility, strength, stability and balance with the use of light weights, exercise bands, sliders and exercise balls.

Chair Fit

Designed for those with less mobility to help improve mobility and strength that can help make day-to-day activities easier. With a focus on balance and coordination you will use a chair or your walker to complete basic movements in a safe and engaging environment.

Walk Fit

Walk Fit is a guided walking activity that helps people stay active and healthy. It’s a simple, low-impact way to improve strength, balance, and energy. Each walk is done at a comfortable pace and can be adapted to fit different needs and abilities.

Mat  Yoga

A yoga class for those who can go from lying to standing and sitting with some ease. It emphasizes gentle movements (poses), mindfulness and modifications to ensure accessibility and safety.

Arts and Crafts

Arts and crafts offer a wonderful way to express your creativity, relax your mind, and stay engaged with your hands and imagination. Whether you’re painting, knitting, woodworking, or creating something entirely your own, these activities celebrate the beauty of handmade work and the satisfaction of creating something from start to finish.

Meet Wendy

Wendy is a certified Hatha yoga instructor with 23 years of experience, teaching a range of classes from seniors’ yoga to children’s programs across the GTA, including for the City of Toronto and private companies like Rogers Centre and Paese Restaurant. She has also taught yoga and aquafit at global resorts for NRG2GO. Wendy holds certifications in Hatha Yoga, UHN T.I.M.E Program, Aqua Yoga, Children’s Yoga, Tai Chi, Jazz and Tap, as well as First Aid/CPR. She is passionate about helping seniors improve their flexibility, strength, and confidence.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who can join the at Home Activities program?

Anyone aged 55 or older is welcome to join. For the fitness classes, participants should be able to walk at least 10 metres (30 feet), with or without the use of a cane or walker.

Can a client participate in multiple activities per session?

The client is welcome to try a little of everything during the assessment, but once it’s confirmed, each session includes only one activity to achieve a quality outcome. However, clients are welcome to book two sessions back-to-back (e.g., Mat Yoga followed by Arts & Crafts, or Stretch & Strength followed by Mat Yoga). 

How long is each activity session?

Each session lasts about one hour. The activity itself will run for approximately 30–45 minutes, with the remaining time allocated for setup, cleanup, and light socializing.

Is there a maximum number of sessions a client can book per day?

Yes, clients may book up to two sessions per day.

Is the price listed per session or per activity?

Pricing is based on a per-session model, with each session including one activity.

Are in-home assessments required?

Yes, house assessments are necessary. During the assessment client will be shown a few moves from each activity to see which one they will participate in.
