What’s your professional background/summary?
I come from Hong Kong. I studied Special Education (helping children with special educational needs) at the university. I worked in a financial company for a while right after my graduation but I found that it is not something that I am interested in/satisfying. I made a big decision when I quit the job – moved to Canada last year May and started my new life journey here.
Why did you decide to join CareHop?
I would like to work in the healthcare industry, which is rewarding and meaningful by making people live a better life. I had a great experience during the interviews. I like the company motto ‘ bring sunshine to people’s homes. I am glad to be a part of this amazing team now!
What brings sunshine to you?
There are lots of ways to bring sunshine and happiness into your life. For me, helping others is definitely one of the ways. It doesn’t have to be someone you know personally or someone in your social circle. You can help people in your community, family, friends or neighbours, or even total strangers. Being kind, offering advice, helping with errands, or volunteering.
What’s your favourite vacation place?
Croatia is my favourite vacation place. Magnificent beaches, picturesque towns and stunning scenery. These are all I need for an ultimate vacation. (especially in summer!)It has quite a few national parks, so you will have plenty of choices when it comes to outdoor adventuring. Last but not least the historic cities are like they are from a fairy tale!
