What’s your professional background/summary?
I was a physician in Colombia since 2011 and gained seven years of experience before immigrated to Canada. I decided to get a Master’s in Geriatric after I moved to Canada. Here I developed my post graduated in Advance Health care Leadership. Now I am working as a care manager assistant in CareHop bringing sunshine to you.
Why did you decide to join CareHop?
CareHop gave me the opportunity to grow in my professional career. I knew this role would help me improve my communication skills. It is the perfect moment in my life to practice my knowledge and share my experience with the wonderful CareHop team.
What brings sunshine to you?
In my life sunshine is the real love that someone gives to you with a beautiful smile or comment like “Have a Great Day!” or every small action from the heart.
What is the one thing that most people don’t know about you?
My real passion is when I am volunteering at the International Foundation Maria Luisa de Moreno, I enjoy helping seniors, supporting immigrant families providing them with food and fun activities for the kids.
What’s your favourite meal?
My favourite meal is ravioli!
How has a senior impacted your life?
Listening carefully to how they feel and what they want taught me about quality time. Understanding their feelings and supporting them is the most rewarding experience. They impacted my life by giving me their confidence and friendship. It is a treasure to me.
